How can you strengthen a loose tooth?

Having a loose tooth is no fun and can mean there are more serious dental issues that will eventually require the professional care only a dentist can give. If you have a loose tooth and can’t get to your dentist right away, here are a few home remedies for a loose tooth that can help in the meantime. Remember, stay away from the sugary stuff and junk food. You may like it but your teeth don’t.

Pepper and turmeric
How to:
This little combination will help strengthen your gums and help with your loose teeth. Crush equal amounts of turmeric root and black pepper in a bowl, creating a powder that you will gently massage onto your gums for about 2 minutes. Rinse well with cool, clean water and don’t eat or drink for the next 30 minutes.

Salt Water Gargle – the oldest, safest way to strengthen a loose tooth
How to:
Salt water is your very own homemade mouthwash for infected gums. Mix a tablespoon of salt in 6 ounces of warm water and swish vigorously around in your mouth. Continue this at least for a minute before you rinse, spit and repeat. This will draw out all that hidden bacteria effectively. Gradually, your gums will begin to strengthen and so will the loose tooth.

Mustard oil and table salt can strengthen a loose tooth
How to:
Just add a couple of 2 drops of Mustard Oil to a 1/8 tsp. of salt then massage gently over your gums for about 2 minutes before rinsing with cool, clean water. Do this once a day as needed, as long as no irritation occurs.

Amla or Indian gooseberry for a loose tooth
How to:
Mix equal amounts of amla fruit extract and clean water in a cup and stir to combine fully. Rinse, orally as often as you like to help build gum strength. You must not drink or eat anything for an hour after rinsing. Amla fruit extract can also be taken in capsule form. Amia fruit supports connective tissue supporting a loose tooth.
